Whether it’s a sudden toothache, a tooth that’s broken on hard bread, a filling or crown that’s fallen out, or swelling that won’t settle, we keep room for same-day emergency appointments — Saturdays included — with on-site X-rays so we can diagnose and usually treat in the same visit. First: what to do right now

• Toothache: rinse with warm salt water, take your usual painkiller (ibuprofen/paracetamol as appropriate), and avoid very hot, cold or sugary foods. Don’t put aspirin directly on the gum.
• Broken or chipped tooth: keep any pieces, rinse your mouth, and use dental wax or sugar-free gum to cover a sharp edge until you reach us.
• Lost filling or crown: keep the crown if you have it (we can often re-cement it), avoid chewing on that side.
• Knocked-out adult tooth: this is time-critical — hold it by the crown (not the root), keep it in milk or inside your cheek, and contact us immediately.
• Swelling / facial swelling: this can signal infection — contact us the same day; don’t wait it out.

Then message us. The sooner we see you, the simpler the fix usually is.

Same-day emergency care — what to expect

As your emergency dentist in Antalya, we take the necessary X-rays on site (periapical and panoramic), diagnose the problem, explain your options and the cost clearly, and — if time and your treatment plan allow — carry out the treatment in the same appointment. We give emergencies genuine priority, including on Saturdays, and you’re treated by the dentists themselves, in English, Turkish, Farsi or Azerbaijani.

If there’s an active infection, we may prescribe antibiotics first and bring you back to complete a root canal safely — rushing an infected tooth is not in your interest.

We use a Dentsply Sirona intraoral scanner with digital design, and production at our partner laboratory — no messy impressions. For a broken tooth that needs a crown, we can often fit a temporary tooth the same day (within about 2–3 hours) so you’re never walking around with a gap, and finish the permanent zirconia crown in just 1–2 days. For many holiday patients, that means a broken tooth is fully sorted before they fly home.
