Looking for a dentist in Antalya while you’re on holiday? You don’t need to plan a whole dental-tourism trip to sort out a niggle. Plenty of visitors come to us mid-holiday for the quick, everyday things — a professional cleaning, a filling, whitening before the photos, or a sudden toothache — and leave the same day, sorted. As a husband-and-wife dental team in Muratpaşa, Antalya, we treat these visits with exactly the same care as any big case. Here’s what a quick dentist visit in Antalya actually looks like, with honest prices.

Why see a dentist in Antalya during your holiday?

Because the small stuff is fast, low-cost, and low-risk — and you’re already here. A cleaning, a filling, or whitening is usually a single, cash-friendly appointment with no travel to plan and no surgery involved. You also get to meet us in person, see the clinic, and judge the care for yourself — which is why many holiday patients later come back (or send family) for bigger treatment. You’re not committing to anything; you’re just getting a small job done well while you’re in town.

*Root canal is often completed in one visit; if there’s an active infection or a root-tip lesion, we may prescribe antibiotics first and complete it over two visits.

Deep cleaning — more than a polish

Our professional cleaning is a proper deep clean, not just stain removal. We remove tartar (calculus), polish, and treat the early signs of gum disease — because clean gums matter more than a cosmetic shine. It takes 30–40 minutes depending on how much build-up there is, and usually needs no anaesthetic; if your gums are sensitive, we can numb the area with a local anaesthetic. The €80 price includes an X-ray, a detailed oral examination with clear feedback, and personalised brushing-technique advice before you leave. It’s the ideal first appointment if you just want a check and a freshen-up on holiday.

Fillings & toothache — sorted in one visit

If a tooth has decay but the nerve isn’t involved and you have no pain or infection, it’s a straightforward composite filling — about 30 minutes, from €60. If the decay is close to the nerve, we protect it with an MTA pulp-capping material under the filling (€90, ~40 min). If decay has reached the nerve, a root canal is needed — single root €120, two roots €150, three roots €180, filling included. We’ll always take an X-ray and explain exactly what your tooth needs before starting.

Whitening before the holiday photos

Two safe, single-appointment options: Opalescence in-clinic (no lamp needed, 2 × 20 min, €150) for a gentle lift, or Philips Zoom — used only with the clinic’s original Philips Zoom lamp and a new original Philips kit — as an office treatment (up to 4 × 15 min, €350) that comes with custom trays and a 6-day home kit to continue safely. In our experience so far, most patients report little or no sensitivity; temporary sensitivity is a known side effect of whitening and some patients do feel it, so we examine your teeth and gums first. Both options are done by Dr. Surur Ulubey or Dr. Ali Cem Ulubey, and the Philips Zoom home kit is the Philips NiteWhite 6-day kit with custom upper and lower trays made in the clinic. Whitening is not for everyone: it is not used on patients under 18, decay and gum disease are treated first, and manufacturers advise against it during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Can’t get an NHS dentist? A check-up on your Antalya holiday

You are not alone if you have struggled to find one. In NHS England’s GP Patient Survey (January–March 2025, published 24 July 2025), 78% of respondents who had tried to get an NHS dental appointment in the previous two years were successful, up two points on 2024 — so more than one in five (22%) were not (NHS England, Supplementary Dental Analysis).

We are not a replacement for a dentist at home. On request we give you copies of your X-rays and treatment notes to show your dentist at home. If you can get NHS care at home, regular check-ups there remain the simplest option; a holiday visit is a way to catch up, not a reason to skip them.

Healing before the final implant teeth takes about 3 months, planned individually (about 6 months on average with bone grafting or an open sinus lift). Where we are

Ulubey Dental Clinic is in the Lara area of Antalya (Çağlayan, Muratpaşa) — Barınaklar Blv. No:109A, about 300 m from Düden Park, with a pharmacy right next door. We’re a small, boutique clinic, so you’re seen by a dentist, not passed around.

• Staying in Lara: there are boutique hotels around the clinic, including one in the building next door that we use for patients coming from abroad (hotel is included in larger treatment plans, confirmed in your written quote).
• Lara / Kundu hotel zone: the large resort-hotel zone is about 10 minutes away by car (approximate; it depends on your hotel and traffic).
• From the airport (AYT): about 12 km, around 15 minutes by car depending on traffic.
• Staying in Konyaaltı, Kaleiçi (Old Town) or Belek: send us your hotel name on WhatsApp and we will suggest an appointment time that fits your day.

Check-ups, cleaning, fillings, whitening, most root canals and a single zirconia crown usually fit into one week. Several crowns need 4–5 treatment days, so plan 5–7 days. Implants can start within a week, but the final teeth need a second trip after about 3 months of healing.
