Editorial Policy: How We Write and Check Our Pages
This editorial policy explains how Ulubey Dental Clinic in Antalya writes and checks the pages on this website; it applies to pages published or updated from 26 October 2026, and older pages are brought in line as each is next reviewed. Every page under this policy names the dentist responsible for it. Clinical facts about our clinic come only from facts our dentists have confirmed in writing, prices only from our price list, and medical statements from cited primary sources. AI tools may assist with drafting, translation and checking. A “Medically reviewed by” line appears only after the second dentist has read the final page, and that read is logged.

Our editorial policy: who writes our pages
Ulubey Dental Clinic is a small clinic run by two dentists, Dr. Ali Cem Ulubey, DDS, and Dr. Surur Ulubey, DDS. Every page published or updated under this policy shows a “Written by” line naming one of them. The dentist named there is responsible for the content of the page.
- Both are dentists (DDS, Çukurova University Faculty of Dentistry) and members of the Antalya Chamber of Dentists (member numbers 3299 and 3300).
- Neither holds a formal specialty title, and our pages do not describe them with one.
- “Dr.” is a courtesy title: our dentists are licensed dentists in Türkiye, not medical doctors.
Their background, training and languages are on meet the dentists. Turkish law allows information about health services to be given only by licensed health professionals in their own field[1], which is one reason a named dentist stands behind every page.
Where our facts come from
We separate three kinds of statement and take each from one place only:
| Kind of statement | Example | Only source we use |
|---|---|---|
| Facts about our clinic | What we treat, how we do it, materials and equipment, opening hours | Facts our dentists have confirmed in writing, kept in one internal fact record |
| Prices and guarantees | The price of a zirconia crown; what a guarantee covers | Our published price list and our approved guarantee wording |
| Medical and scientific statements | How long a treatment lasts in studies; risks; how common a problem is | Cited primary sources: peer-reviewed studies and reviews (PubMed), clinical guidelines, and official health bodies |
If a fact about our clinic has not been confirmed by our dentists, it is not published. If a medical statement has no source, it is removed or rewritten.
For medical statements we prefer systematic reviews and clinical guidelines over single studies, and single studies over opinion. Every number carries its source, and every source in a page’s list shows its author, publication and year, or the date we accessed it. We link to the exact page or study, not to a home page. We do not cite or link to other dental clinics, and we avoid manufacturer pages as sources.
How pages are checked before publication
AI tools may assist with drafting, translation and checking. They do not decide what the page says about treatment at our clinic: before publication, every page goes through our fact-check process, which compares it with the facts our dentists have confirmed and with the cited sources. The process covers:
- Clinic facts and prices. Every statement about our clinic and every price is compared with our dentists’ confirmed facts and our price list. The same fact must read the same on every page and in every language.
- Medical accuracy. Medical statements are compared with their cited sources, including the study’s own limits. Numbers are not rounded up, and claims the source does not support are removed.
- Health-advertising rules. Pages are checked against the Turkish regulation on information about health services[1], and against the rules of the countries our patients come from where they apply. For example, we do not use words such as “best” or “painless” in our own voice, we do not promise results, and we do not name other clinics.
- Links and page structure. Every link is checked before the page goes live.
If a check finds a problem, the page is corrected and checked again before publication. When a question can only be answered by our dentists, it goes to them, and the statement stays out of the page until they answer.
The “Medically reviewed by” line
Some pages show a line such as “Medically reviewed by Dr. Surur Ulubey, DDS · Reviewed on (date)”. Under this policy, that line means something specific:
- It appears only after the second dentist, not the author, has read the final version of the page.
- Each review is logged with the page, the language, the reviewer and the date.
- The date shown is the date of that review.
- If the page later changes in substance (a new clinical statement, a new price or a new section), the line is removed until the page has been reviewed again.
- A check of a translation is not a medical review; it is labelled as a translation check.
Pages without the line have not yet had this second review; they show only “Written by”. This policy applies to pages published or updated from 26 October 2026. Some older pages carry review lines written before it; we bring them in line as each page is next reviewed.
Dates and regular reviews
Every page shows a “Last updated” date, as Turkish regulation requires for health information websites[1]. It shows when the page was last changed. We plan to review each page at least every 12 months, and sooner when a clinical guideline, one of our prices or one of our treatments changes. Pages reviewed under this policy also show a “Next review due” date, as this page does.
Prices and guarantees
- Prices are shown in euros (the price page also lists pound and dollar equivalents), taken from our dental treatment prices page, and are indicative. Your final price is given in a written quote after the examination and X-rays, valid for 30 days.
- Treatments that are not on our price list are described as priced “in a written quote”; we do not estimate them on our pages.
- Guarantees are described with the same approved wording on every page, including what they do not cover. The full terms are on our written dental guarantee page.
- Our Turkish-language pages do not show prices, in line with Turkish rules on health advertising[1].
Corrections
If you find an error on this site, please tell us: e-mail [email protected] or send a message on WhatsApp, and name the page and the statement. We check it against our dentists’ facts and the cited sources. If the page is wrong, we correct it, update the “Last updated” date, and correct the same fact wherever else it appears on the site. If the page is right, we tell you which source supports it.
Conflicts of interest
- We are a private clinic. Many of our pages describe treatments we offer, and we have a commercial interest in them. We try to make this useful rather than persuasive: our pages state limits, risks and when a treatment is not the right choice.
- Brands. When we name a brand of implant or material, it is one we actually use. We name it so that you know what goes into your mouth, not to promote it.
- Other clinics. We do not name, rate or compare other clinics or dentists.
- Patient stories and photos. We publish them only with the patient’s documented written consent, usually with initials only. Illustrations are labelled as illustrations, and patient photos are not retouched.
Google’s guidance on helpful content asks whether a page is written or reviewed by someone who knows the topic and whether it is clear who wrote it[2]. This policy is our answer to those questions.
Languages
Our pages are written first in English and then prepared for German, Persian (Farsi) and Turkish readers. A language version is written for its readers rather than translated word for word, but it carries the same facts, numbers and sources as the English page, and it goes through the same fact-check process. The Turkish pages follow Turkish health-advertising rules, so they show no prices and use the title “Diş Hekimi” (dentist) instead of “Dr.”.
Frequently asked questions
Who writes the pages on this website?
Every page published or updated under this policy names one of our two dentists, Dr. Ali Cem Ulubey, DDS, or Dr. Surur Ulubey, DDS, as the author responsible for it. Clinical facts about our clinic come only from facts they have confirmed in writing, prices only from our price list, and medical statements from cited primary sources.
Do you use AI to write your pages?
AI tools may assist with drafting, translation and checking. They do not decide what a page says about treatment at our clinic. Before publication, every page goes through our fact-check process, which compares it with the facts our dentists have confirmed in writing, our price list and the cited sources.
What does “Medically reviewed by” mean on your pages?
It means that the second dentist, not the author, has read the final version of the page, and that this read was logged with the date. The date shown is the date of that review. If the page later changes in substance, the line is removed until the page has been reviewed again.
How often are your pages reviewed?
Each page shows a “Last updated” date. We plan to review every page at least once every 12 months, and sooner when a clinical guideline, one of our prices or one of our treatments changes. Pages reviewed under this policy also show a “Next review due” date.
How can I report a mistake on your website?
E-mail [email protected] or send us a WhatsApp message, naming the page and the statement. We check it against our dentists’ facts and the cited sources. If the page is wrong, we correct it everywhere the fact appears and update the date; if it is right, we tell you which source supports it.
