Our Written Guarantee: What Is Covered, and What Is Not

1. What is guaranteed, item by item

All guarantees are conditional on attending the recommended check-ups and cover the prosthesis, not the root canal or filling beneath it.

The guarantee that applies to you depends on what was made, and from which material. Your itemised written quote names the implant system and the crown or veneer material for every tooth, so you can see which line of this table applies before you travel.

The implant fixture carries the manufacturer’s lifetime guarantee, under the manufacturer’s own terms. Every implant patient receives the manufacturer’s implant passport, with the original labels of each implant (brand, diameter, length, LOT and REF) stuck into it. 2. What the guarantee does not cover

• The tooth or tissue under the restoration. The guarantee covers the prosthesis, not the root canal or filling beneath it. Root canal treatment or a core build-up that becomes necessary under a crown is not covered.
• Fracture from teeth grinding. Crown and bridge guarantees exclude fracture due to bruxism (teeth grinding), and patients who grind their teeth must wear the night guard we provide. For veneers, bruxism without a night guard is excluded.
• Trauma to veneers, for example a fall or a blow.
• Implants placed by another clinic. We give no guarantee on them, because the fixture and the way it was placed are not ours. New crowns or bridges on them are often possible; see implants placed abroad.
• Changes by another dentist without our prior written OK (emergencies are treated differently, see section 4).
• A blanket implant promise. We do not offer a blanket “10-year implant guarantee”.

3. The condition: one check-up a year

We cannot guarantee work that we do not see or follow, so every guarantee is conditional on a yearly check-up.

• When: once a year, within ±2 months of the anniversary of your treatment.
• Where: at Ulubey Dental Clinic in Antalya (no fee), or at any licensed dentist, in your home country or anywhere else.
• Home check-up: send us a panoramic X-ray (plus a periapical X-ray for implants, if taken), 5 standard intra-oral photos and the dentist’s note or invoice, by WhatsApp or email. The panoramic X-ray is required; a check-up without an X-ray is not accepted.
• Our review: Dr. Ali Cem Ulubey or Dr. Surur Ulubey reviews the documents within 7 days and confirms the check-up to you in writing.
• Missed check-up: the guarantee is paused, not cancelled. A catch-up check-up within 3 months restores it, unless a problem caused by the gap has developed.

4. If something breaks

• Tell us within 30 days of noticing the problem, with photos and, if you have one, an X-ray.
• The remake is done at Ulubey Dental Clinic in Antalya at no treatment cost. Travel and hotel are paid by the patient.
• We do not reimburse repair or remake costs at another dentist, in any country. The remedy under the guarantee is the remake at our clinic.
• Other dentists: any change to our restoration by another dentist needs our prior written OK. WhatsApp or email is enough; ask us first.
• Emergencies abroad: if you have pain or an infection and need treatment before you can reach us, emergency treatment by another dentist without our prior written OK does not void the guarantee. Send us that dentist’s report, the X-ray and photos within 7 days.

5. What no guarantee can promise

Healing and the long-term result also depend on things no clinic fully controls: smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and gum health. A fixture guarantee does not mean every implant integrates. What we guarantee is the remedy described on this page, under its conditions, not a biological outcome. Please tell us about your health conditions and medication before treatment; your dentist explains what they mean for your case.

6. Your written quote and the guarantee in writing

You receive an itemised written quote before you travel. The written quote is valid for 30 days, and within that period the price is fixed; unless the treatment plan changes, the written price does not change. You receive our guarantee terms in writing with your invoice, and on request we send them before you travel.
