# Warranty and aftercare

Ulubey Dental Clinic publishes itemised euro prices: https://ulubeydental.com/dental-treatment-prices/. Its guarantees are written plainly, each with its conditions. The clinic does not offer a blanket "10-year implant guarantee".

## Guarantee terms (canonical wording)

> 10-year fracture guarantee on Amann Girrbach zirconia crowns and bridges made at our partner lab; 5-year clinic guarantee on crowns and bridges in other materials; 5-year guarantee on E.max veneers against fracture/debonding; manufacturer lifetime guarantee on the implant fixture; all conditional on recommended check-ups; covers the prosthesis, not the root canal/filling under it; biological caveat (smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, gum health; a fixture guarantee does not mean every implant integrates).

The guarantee covers the prosthesis, not the root canal or filling under it. The clinic cannot guarantee a process it does not see or follow, which is why check-ups are a condition.

## How the check-up condition works

- **Once a year**, within ±2 months of the treatment anniversary.
- **Where:** at Ulubey Dental Clinic in Antalya (no fee) or at any licensed dentist in your country.
- **Home check-up:** send a panoramic X-ray (plus a periapical X-ray for implants, if taken), 5 standard intra-oral photos and the dentist's note or invoice by WhatsApp or email. Dr. Ali Cem Ulubey or Dr. Surur Ulubey reviews them within 7 days and confirms in writing.
- **Missed check-up:** the guarantee is paused, not cancelled. A catch-up check-up within 3 months restores it, unless a problem caused by the gap has developed.
- **Other dentists:** any change to our restoration by another dentist needs the clinic's prior written OK.
- **If something breaks:** report it within 30 days of noticing it. The remake is done at Ulubey at no treatment cost; travel and hotel are paid by the patient.

## Biological variability (honest caveat)

Results depend on factors no clinic fully controls: smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and gum health. A fixture guarantee does not mean every implant integrates. Healing is planned individually: typically about 3 months, or about 6 months on average with bone grafting or an open sinus lift.

## Aftercare

- **Same dentists:** the same two dentists who treated you handle follow-up questions. There is no call centre.
- **WhatsApp check-ins** 30, 90 and 365 days after treatment.
- **Night guard:** included with veneers, because bruxism is a common cause of veneer fracture.
- **Fit-to-fly letter:** a signed letter in English is available on request.
- **Flying after surgery:** usually 24–48 hours after a single implant; 48 hours after a complex surgical extraction or bone graft; 3–5 days after a closed sinus lift; 5–7 days after a lateral-window sinus lift. Guide: https://ulubeydental.com/flying-after-dental-implants/

## What this means for a patient

Ask for the guarantee terms in writing with your itemised quote. The implant brand and crown material are named there, and they decide which guarantee applies.
