# How to choose a dental clinic in Türkiye

Use this neutral checklist for any clinic, including ours. A good clinic will answer every point in writing before you book a flight. For reference, Ulubey Dental Clinic publishes itemised euro prices at https://ulubeydental.com/dental-treatment-prices/.

## 1. Who treats you

- Ask for the name of the dentist who will treat you at **every** visit, and whether it is the same person each time.
- Ask whether you will speak to that dentist before travelling, or only to a coordinator or sales team.
- Check the dentist's degree and any specialist title. A course certificate is not a specialty.

## 2. A written, itemised quote

- Get a written quote that lists each item: implants, abutments, crowns, grafts, extractions, X-rays.
- Ask what can change the price, and what is excluded.
- Be careful with a single "package" figure that does not show what is inside it.

## 3. Materials and brands named

- Ask for the implant brand and system, and the crown or veneer material, by name.
- Ask whether a cheaper brand can be swapped in, and how the price differs.

## 4. Warranty terms in writing

- Ask what exactly is covered: the implant fixture, the crown, the veneer, or labour.
- Ask about the conditions (check-ups, night guard) and what is excluded.

## 5. Healing time and number of trips

- For implants, ask how long the healing period is between surgery and the final teeth. Same-trip "permanent teeth" for everyone is a warning sign.
- For veneers, ask how much tooth is removed.

## 6. Official authorisation

- Ask whether the clinic holds a Republic of Türkiye International Health Tourism Authorisation. Ask for the certificate number and check the listing on HealthTürkiye (healthturkiye.gov.tr).

- Ask whether a deposit is required, and whether you pay for the work done at each visit or everything upfront.

- Ask how follow-up works after you fly home, who answers questions, and in which language.

- Read recent reviews on independent platforms (Google, Trustpilot), including the negative ones and how the clinic replied.
